Job Overview:

The Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Noahtu Shipyard will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security strategies and protocols to safeguard personnel, assets, and facilities. The CSO will oversee security operations, risk assessments, crisis management, and emergency response activities to mitigate threats effectively and ensure the safety and security of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Security Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic security plans, policies, and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and facilities from internal and external threats. Collaborate with senior management to align security objectives with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities, security gaps, and emerging threats. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks effectively.
  3. Security Operations: Oversee all aspects of security operations, including access control, perimeter security, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems. Ensure the deployment of security personnel and resources to maintain a secure and safe environment across the shipyard.
  4. Crisis Management and Emergency Response: Develop and implement crisis management plans and protocols to respond to security incidents, emergencies, and disasters promptly and effectively. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, law enforcement agencies, and emergency responders as needed.
  5. Physical Security and Facility Protection: Implement measures to enhance physical security and protect critical infrastructure, facilities, and sensitive areas from unauthorized access, vandalism, and sabotage. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
  6. Personnel Security: Develop and enforce personnel security policies and procedures, including background checks, access control protocols, and employee training programs to mitigate insider threats and unauthorized access to sensitive areas and information.
  7. Security Awareness and Training: Conduct security awareness programs and training sessions to educate employees about security risks, best practices, and protocols. Promote a culture of security consciousness and compliance across all levels of the organization.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements. Stay informed about evolving security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes to adapt security measures accordingly.
  9. Security Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into security incidents, breaches, and violations. Document findings, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve security posture.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in security management, law enforcement, or military service, with a minimum of [4] years in a leadership role.
